FAQ

What does “Online Streaming” mean?

A product that offers STREAMING means that the video doesn’t have to be downloaded to your computer to view it.  If you order a STREAMING product you will always be able to view your video without having to take up space on your computer.  Be sure to KEEP YOUR RECEIPT that you received in your email.  As long as  you have that receipt, you’ll be able to click on the video to watch.

If you order more than one STREAMING product, you may want to keep all your receipts in a folder within your email account.  That way, you’ll be able to find your video link quickly.

You will need player software to play your videos.  Quicktime is recommended to play the videos from this site.  It’s free and can be found here:  Quicktime Download.  When watching the video, please allow a few moments for the video to begin.

How do I benefit from Fine Art courses?

The Online Mentoring Class is designed for artists at every level.   I deliver demonstrations in the medium of oil, however, I accept oil, acrylic, and pastel into my Online Mentoring Classes.  Purchased video lesson demos are also delivered using oil medium, but the principles can be applied for acrylic as well as pastel.  Any medium benefits from understanding A Study of the Planes.

The Downloadable and Streaming Video lessons also have demonstrations in oil.

Learn and work from the privacy of your own home/studio.

Work at your own pace and on your own schedule.

No added expense for travel and lodging.

Are these courses live?

The Online Mentoring classes are not live.  They are pre-recorded videos that you can watch anytime and anywhere as long as you have high-speed Internet connection on a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone. You’re able to watch the videos in parts if you can’t watch the entire video all at once.   You can forward and rewind the video lessons as often as you wish.  This represents an added bonus, because everyone knows that there is no rewinding instructor information when taking a physical workshop!

If you purchase a Streaming Video, you can also watch the video on a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone, whenever you want.

What level of computer knowledge do I need for these courses?

A basic level of computer understanding is needed. The technology is simple and very easy to use!  If you can browse the Internet, you can easily learn from these videos.

Do I need a fast internet connection?

Yes. If you choose to join the Online Mentoring Class or purchase a Streaming lesson you’ll need to have a fast internet connection.  A minimum download speed of 5.0 Mbps is recommended to stream video lessons. You may check with your Internet provider (ISP) or click here to visit speedtest.net and test your download speed before purchasing a class.  If your system downloads at less than 5.0 Mbps you will have difficulty taking these courses.
